Motobloc tipus R de 1925

Els Motobloc, van ser fabricats a Bordeus (França), a partir de 1902. Des dels seus orígens eren considerats uns vehicles mecànicament molt particulars i van ser dels primers a unificar el motor amb la caixa de canvis. El model R té la particularitat de tenir el volant del motor situat just al mig d’aquest, entre el 2n i 3r cilindre.
Aquesta originalitat era, segons els seus constructors, per a donar un equilibri millor al motor i, per tant, fer-lo més suau. La Societat Motobloc va tancar les portes el 1930.

Desde sus orígenes eran considerados unos vehículos mecánicamente muy particulares y fueron de los primeros en unificar el motor con la caja de cambios. El modelo R, tiene la particularidad de tener el volante del motor situado justo en medio del mismo, entre el 2º y 3º cilindro.
Esta originalidad era, según sus constructores, para dar un equilibrio mejor al motor y, por tanto, hacerlo más suave. La Sociedad Motobloc cerró sus puertas en 1930.

The Motoblocs were manufactured in Bordeaux (France) from 1902. From their origins they were considered very particular mechanical vehicles and were among the first to unify the engine with the gearbox. The R model has the particularity of having the engine steering wheel located right in the middle of it, between the 2º and 3º cylinder.
This originality was, according to its builders, to give a better balance to the engine, and therefore make it smoother. The Motobloc Society closed its doors in 1930.
